Change hostname to permanent on RedHat like Linux server


edit
[root@localhost ~]# grep HOSTNAME /etc/sysconfig/network
HOSTNAME=localhost.localdomain
[root@localhost ~]#
and then run:
[root@localhost ~]# hostname your_hostname
